Grassbloxxx - plant based isolation material

In the provinces Noord-Holland and Flevoland, at least 50.000 tons of roadside grass and green residues become available each year for processing into fiber material such as insulation material. The fiber material from roadside grass is, for example, suitable for making biobased building materials such as insulation mats and plate material, substrate for horticulture or replacement of peat in potting soil. In any application mentioned, this leads to a more favorable CO2 footprint than composting. Given the current task towards sustainable and circular construction, Grassbloxxx has emphasized th transition from roadside grass to biobased insulation mats.
