Walter de Groot, after a career in various positions at Akzo Nobel Coatings (1987 - 2000) and as founder of Wandflex B.V. (2001 - 2012) has been involved in the energy market on a project basis and has been actively involved in circularity since 2017. CircuWall started in June 2020 with the aim of making as many (bio-based) products as possible circular (reusable or recyclable) via releasable adhesives (CircuGlue) in order to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible on the one hand and ensure future availability of raw materials and materials on the other hand to set.

About the businessmodel
The frames are made of 100% old Velux wooden windows that have been in service for more than 30 years done find a new application. After the windows are disassembled (glass, metal, wood) the wood is used for the CircuFrames.
These frames with dimensions of 120 x 60 cm, 60 x 60cm and 30 x 60 cm and a thickness of 70 or 95 mm can be quickly enered vertically or horizontally in stone bond be easily built. A variety of insulation materials can be used, where the biobased versions have strong are preferred. The final finish can be done with many types of sheet material, again preferably biobased or recycled.
